Frequently asked questions.

How do I book an appointment?

In order to begin an herbal consultation click here or here to make an appointment.

Fill out the intake forms and return them at least three business days prior to our initial consultation via the client portal.  This form will help me get an overall view of your health before we meet. If you are unsure of an answer or do not want to share certain information, please feel free to leave it blank. If we have not already scheduled an appointment, I will contact you to do so when I receive your forms.

Recommendations will be sent to you via the portal, within 2-3 business days.

I will check in with you via phone or email to see how your progress is going and to change protocols if needed. Any questions involving more than a quick response will require a follow-up appointment.

I recommend scheduling a follow-up one month after our initial appointment but you are welcome to choose an earlier time.

Can herbs help me?

Natural remedies, healthy foods and lifestyle changes, can be beneficial for almost any person and health condition. Some health concerns I often see include fatigue, mental fog, sleep disorders, depression, grief, hormone imbalances, digestion, and the effects of menopause and andropause. I do not specialize in urgent life-or-death conditions, cancer or HIV/AIDS.

How much do the herbs cost?

The cost of custom herbal formulas can range from $48-$150. This may be every 4-6 weeks while changing patterns of long-term, chronic illness. There is a wide range of price differences between some herbs and I work within the client’s budget to find the best fit for their herbal protocol. Some highly active herbs might already be in the spice rack!

Can I buy herbs from you?

Yes, I grow and wild harvest herbs which I use in my apothecary of handmade herbals. What I don’t grow or collect myself, I source from ethical suppliers. I make tinctures, glycerites, hydrosols, powdered herb capsules, teas, salves and more.

Can I take Herbs With Pharmaceuticals?

I am happy to work with clients who are on most common pharmaceutical drugs to help guide you to safe herb use. If your goal is to go off of pharmaceutical medications, please understand that while I may be able to support you on this journey, I will not be legally or ethically able to advise you on how to take or remove medications. Please work directly with your doctor for guidance. I can support you with natural approaches that may help you feel better and be more successful with the process, while you also work with your doctor. Do not take yourself off medications before our appointment (unless your doctor has advised you to do so).

Communication & Privacy:

I typically use email and/or the client portal to communicate. The client portal is HIPAA compliant; however, emailing me directly is not. I will maintain confidentiality for our appointment and your health information.

Currently, phone and video chat appointments are available.

The portal or email are the best ways to reach me. Please do not text me unless it's a last-minute notification or we are experiencing technical issues. My phone volume is usually off however if you leave a message, I will call you back at my earliest availability during business hours.

Cancellation Policy:

First-time cancellations within 48 hours will incur a charge for half the fee of the first visit. Following such cancellations will incur a charge for the full amount of the appointment. No-shows will be charged the full amount for the appointment.
